High-Strength TPC-TPEE Elastomers

POLYMIX BENELUX offers a wide range of TPC/TPEE materials suitable for numerous application areas (automotive, industrial, E&E, sports and leisure, consumer goods, etc.). Eco-friendly grades (containing recycled or bio-based content) and food-contact grades are also available upon request.

TPCs (Thermoplastic Copolyesters), also known as TPEE (Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomers), are thermoplastic elastomers that combine:

• a hard, crystalline phase, typically polyester-based;
• a soft, amorphous phase, which provides elasticity.

This structure allows them to combine certain properties of engineering plastics with those of elastomers.

As a result, TPC / TPEE is often the material of choice for mechanical parts subjected to relatively high cycle counts and temperatures.

• Electrical & Electronics (E&E): sheaths, cables, connector protectors, grommets, flexible components, etc.
• Sports and Consumer Goods: shoe soles and components, flexible elements, protective parts, mechanical components for sports products, bed frames, mascara brushes, etc.
